Departments: Mission Services Provides administrative direction and support for the career missionary and their families. From contracts to furlough scheduling, to benefits coordination, deputation scheduling, communication coordination, training and preparation for deployment, the Mission Services Department is the main support system for Nazarene missionaries.   Candidate Development and Volunteerism Offices The World Mission Department offers a variety of global opportunities for people to become involved in missions work. Nazarenes in Volunteer Service (NIVS), Nazarenes on Call, Work & Witness, Tentmakers and Career in Mission are programs administrated by this office. (Go to Website.) Administrative/Financial Offices The administrative and finance office oversees and gives direction to the daily operations and financial administration of the World Mission Department. Nazarene Missions International (NMI) NMI promotes, educates, and raises funds for missions for the Church of the Nazarene. They serve as the main contact for NMI Presidents and churches, resourcing them with materials and information to help tell the story of how the Lord is working through Nazarene missions. Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) Existing to provide the holistic ministry of Christ’s compassion to the world, NCM does so by its Child Sponsorship program, Nazarene Health Care Ministries, Lifestyle Education, and CAUSE program. World Mission Communications (WMC) With the goal of “making disciples” the World Mission Communications office gives direction to the World Evangelism Broadcast ministry, World Mission Video Magazine, WM Internet Ministries and Websites, Regional Communications Coordinators and WM Media Resources/Production. World Mission Literature (WML) World Mission Literature directs, coordinates and promotes the preparation, publication and distribution of books, texts, tracts, music and other literature to carry out the mission of the Church of the Nazarene in non-English languages. JESUS Film Harvest Partners (JFHP) The JESUS Film Harvest Partners ministry directs and raises the funds to support the evangelistic, follow-up, discipleship and leadership training efforts of Nazarene JESUS Film teams worldwide.
