Nazarene Missions International
Tennessee District
The Tenn. District Nazarene Missions International (N.M.I.) encourages churches on the Tenn. District to be involved in the cause of missions world-wide. This is done through:
1. Prayer
2. Global Awareness
3. Involving children and youth
4. Giviing to missions
NMI encourages the churches to be involved in supporting the cause of missions in 151 world areas being served by over 800 missionaries.

Work and Witness General Information
One Heart - Many Hands June 21-26, 2009
Be a part of the world's largest Work and Witness Project!
With a goal of over 3000 volunteers and 160 projects Orlando, 2009 promises to be a W & W trip like no other. Working in low-income neighborhoods, the project will include: painting, carpentry, cleanup, remodeling, coaching sports camps, construction and a variety of other tasks. Families are encouraged to participate and every effort will be made to find jobs suitable for your children to work alongside you. Registration is $ 185.00 between now and March 31, 2009. It increases to $215.00 from April 1 to May 1, 2009. Children under 3 years of age are $3.00 per day to cover insurance. Teen Jesus Film Trip July 16-21, 2009
Jesus Film Harvest Partners and the TN District NYI are partnering together to send projection equipment to Guatemala to use in their ministry. The goal is to raise $6000 for the project costs. We are challenging each church on the TN District to support this great ministry. The cost for individuals will be roughly $2,100. Teenagers who are going into their Jr. or Sr. year of high-school are invited to fill out an application. District W & W Trip - Lagos, Nigera Sept. 17 -30, 2009
We are well into the planning stages for a trip to West Africa next year. We plan on going to Lagos, Nigeria to work on a District Center project to help the growing needs of the church there. We also hope to participate in a Jesus Film showing. The approximate cost will be $2,600 (possible increase due to fuel costs).
