2008 WORK & WITNESS TRIPS
Pastor's Trip to Milwaukee June 20-28
We will be working on a "half-way" house type center for recovering addicts and also some local church projects. We will plan a day to see Milwaukee. It is full of beautiful churches. We may possibly see a Brewers baseball game. Fishing is also an option Dr. Berkner says. We'll probably drive up and stay in local churches (or motels if we can work out a deal). The cost will probably be around $ 700 per person (maybe less).
Bahamas Trip July 20-26
The approximate cost for the Bahamas trip will be around $ 1100. This will include airfare to Nassau, food and lodging, ground transportation and material costs for our projects. This will be the District trip and is open to young people as well as adults.
Look forward to Fall of 2009. Tennessee District hopes to be the first team into Nigeria in West Africa.
Details will be given at the 2008 NMI Convention in July. Begin praying and "saving" for this "once in a life-time trip."
